Gilda Almeida is the creative force behind GildArt and is one of the top decorative artist in Southern California. Her travels through out Latin America and Europe have led to a deep fascination with art, the pursuit of beauty and inspiration that art reflected in her art. 

 

Born in Brazil, a land of exuberant beauty, exquisite art, and mixed cultural history, Gilda developed from a young age of sense of appreciation and passion for the richness of colors textures and forms.

She began her art education in Brazil and moved to United States in 1985. She received intense training by the top masters in the industry of decorative painting not only US but also in Europe.
